Skills and Learning
The Regional Assembly is currently working with key partners to progress the skills agenda in the region. We have held 2 successful Select Committees where skills and learning were high on the agenda and we are working with the South West Enterprise and Skills Alliance (SWESA) - lead by the SWRDA – has put together the Framework for Regional and Employment and Skills Action (FRESA). Details of FRESA and newsletters can be found on the SWRDA's website
It is crucial for the development of the South West, that the region has the right mix of skills, in the right place. This is a cross cutting theme that the Assembly has picked up in the Integrated Regional Strategy and in the work of the Sustainable Communities Group.
South West Provincial Employers also offers a comprehensive range of training events within the region.
